Come on out to the 15th Annual Main Street Canoga Park Dia De Los Muertos Festival on November 1st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sherman Way between Canoga and Topanga in Canoga Park! Brooke will be chalk drawing this year and you can also see one of her Dia themed paintings hanging in The Madrid Theatre, 21622 Sherman Way, Canoga Park, CA 91303 now through November 4th. And don’t forget to check out all the incredible children’s art including famous artist altars and who can forget the one-of-a-kind epic skeleton city diorama. You can find this at The Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department’s own Canoga Park Youth Arts Center at 7222 Remmet Ave, Canoga Park, CA 91303!

Brooke is leading the organizing committee for the chalk festival at this year’s event. She is thrilled to announce that for the first time in the 15 years of the event the chalk art will be officially sponsored! The theme for the art will be Quinceañera in celebration of the event’s 15th year. Also new for this year Red Lipstick Makeup Studio has confirmed they will be providing free Dia face painting for all participating chalk artists! We will also be providing a complimentary beer for all 21 plus artists in our beer garden and lunch in our VIP green room! We have some new as well as familiar favorites for this local tradition! The L.A. Kings will return and bands like rock band Seventh Switch…We are also happy to announce additions like world musicians Cunao as well as the mariachi and folklorico you’ve come to expect. Our food booths will be centrally located this year on Owensmouth for your added convenience. We hope you will come out and enjoy this event that is the largest of its kind on the west coast with over 25,000 attendees annually and a car show that is so huge it will make your jaw drop!
