Join Brill August 10th at 7 p.m. at Coffee Klatch, 806A W. Arrow Hwy, San Dimas, CA 91773 along with our friend and best guitarist ever,Ric Taylor, for a free musical showcase! Ric has won national songwriting contests for ASCAP, The Songwriters Resource Service and the Telluride Film Festival. Additionally he has worked as a staff writer for the Screen Gems-E.M.I. publishing company and has received rave reviews from the likes of songwriter Arthur Hamilton (“Cry Me A River”.)

Brill is also excited to announce we will be guest performers August 18th at 11 a.m. at the annual Ventura Arts In the Park benefit for Food Share Inc., member of Feeding America. Special thanks to Ojai Valley Internet Radio for sharing our video spot to promote the event.

And yes, Brooke WILL be drawing! You can find her on August 17th drawing out the majority of this year’s chalk piece.

Last month Brooke made a debut of her ukulele at NetteRadio’s monthly fundraiser showcase. Brooke has been attending this year’s Ukule-Along at The LA Music Center to learn more about this latest instrument addition to Brill’s set. It was an especial thrill for all in attendance of said event to be able to say they performed Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” on the Walt Disney Concert Hall stage. The Ukule-Along is an amazing educational opportunity for all levels of experience not to mention a unique confluence of hundreds of Hawaiian and Ukelele pun garbed folks! “Party Till You Uke” was one of Brooke’s especial favorite t-shirt slogans, donned by a guy who may or may not have been John Waters.
